A moment of silence please... This restaurant definitely deserves it! The Buffet at Wynn isn’t the place to go for conversation; you’ll be so busy enjoying your meal that you’ll be at a loss for words. I guess Steve Wynn knew he didn’t need to come up with a clever name for his restaurant, it speaks for itself. You are immediately greeted by grand designs, sculptures and pleasant arrangements. This is Vegas in all its glory!  I’d challenge you to browse before picking up a plate, I’d be willing to bet you won’t be able to. The Buffet caters to any taste, they even have a great vegan variety! They have sixteen ‘live action’ cooking stations, meaning they have chefs at each station to prepare dishes for you directly.  The prime rib, lamb, ribs, rotisserie chicken –all cooked to perfection. The salad bar is extensive, fresh and plentiful, full of all those tasty toppings that you’d never bother to put on your salad at home. The Asian station deserves mention, contrary to the usual, the dishes are all freshly prepared –nothing tastes like it came from a freezer half way around the world.  Dessert, oh the dessert! I’d be willing to bet that the dessert section is the largest. There are chefs constantly preparing new desserts before your eyes, there’s a large sugar-free section plus the usual pies, cakes and tortes. The one gripe I have is one that is shared with just about every buffet: Service, or a lack thereof.  It would seem that servers of buffets don’t feel as though they have the same requirements as servers of traditional sit-down restaurants. Perhaps they feel that because they aren’t taking your food order they aren’t required to do more than refill your drinks and take away your plates. Or, maybe I’m mistaken. Maybe buffet servers aren’t required to have personalities?

Bottom line: An EXCELLENT choice for an evening out. It’s one of the more expensive buffets in town, but it’s more than worth it, especially if you or your group can’t decide on anything specific. Why not try everything? Sounds good to me!
